About DISMUKES,Lewallen,Hall,Hern,Tyler,Roach,Luttrell,Poe,&KIN
This is a never ending search for OUR FAMILY, Our TREE grows fuller everyday
and everyday we lose those we love. This is to remember Who we are and where
we came from...For our Fathers and Mothers and those who are long gone but
never forgotten...For Those who we owe our lives to...
Our FAMILY even those distant cousins way off in the branches of our tree; the
same blood runs in our Hearts and Bodies; we love and laugh and live because
of the same people..So yes I add you to my TREE.
This site does not let you put one name, so you might see a KING Robert
ROBERT; If we take a trip back in history we find most people had only one
name, then people were known as son of; we see people being named for where
they came from; as DE France or of France. Then came the common name for the
occupation; as John the Baker; shortened to John Baker...as population grew so
did the wide spread use of LAST NAMES or FAMILY Names. This is how we think of
names; however since we are dealing with history we have to address single
names. Thus you will see people with first & last names the same. You will
also see the last name of some of the Royal family of the house of
Plantegnet. The surname "Plantagenet" has been retrospectively applied to the
descendants of Geoffrey of Anjou without historical justification: it is
simply a convenient, if deceptive, method of referring to people who had, in
fact, no surname. The first descendant of Geoffrey to use the surname was
Richard Plantagenet, 3rd Duke of York (father of both Edward IV of England and
Richard III of England) who apparently assumed it about 1448.
If you notice I have added the lines back to CHARLEMAGE..these lines are a
matter of record. And as Grandma always said, "It only matters if you know for
sure which side of the sheets you were born on, and then only the people who
were in the bed know for sure."
Special Thanks go out to family who are helping with the Tree and have gave
